The Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Angus & Mearns
Supporting Royal Arch Chapters and associated Orders throughout Angus, Dundee and the Mearns, with a tradition of companionship and service extending back to the eighteenth century.
Our heritage
Royal Arch Masonry across Angus & Mearns
Royal Arch Freemasonry has been worked in the Province since around 1765, and the first Grand Superintendent was elected in 1861.
The Province includes some of Scotland’s oldest Royal Arch Chapters, alongside Chapters established as communities across Angus and Dundee grew. Today, it continues to support ceremonial work, visitation, companionship and charitable activity.

The Province supports Chapters in Montrose, Dundee, Brechin, Inverbervie, Arbroath, Forfar, Glamis, Broughty Ferry, Monifieth and Lochee.
Companions meet to continue their Masonic journey, maintain historic ceremonial traditions, welcome visitors and support their communities.
